Quest pack installation
Each quest pack should be extracted WITH directories to "yourHQGMpath\quests\".
General notes
The US version quest packs contain these differences from the EU version:
- Monsters have often more than one body point.
- Monster spell casters use Chaos spells not available to players.
- Maps , storyline, traps, monster types and monster numbers are almost
identical.
US version quests are generally more challenging because of the additional
body points.
If you have the EU version of the game you DO NOT NEED anything additional to
play these quests (beyond what is described in the individual quest notes).
Quest pack notes

The Emperor and his forces have been trapped in Kellar's Keep, and need
YOU to find a way out of there.

Additional figures: 8 Goblins, 8 Orcs, 3 Fimirs.
As the name implies you get to fight Ogre's and lots of them! Morcar/Zargon is
using an Ogre Clan to wreak havoc on the Emperor's lands. You must stop this.
This quest pack should be played after "Return of the Witch Lord" and
"Kellar's Keep".
The quest pack used to non-standard play rules.
Ogre's had variable body points and all Ogre's were linked in a quest.
I've changed that to a more standard approach.
Secondly Chaos spellcasting is done with "Tokens" instead of
normal spells. That too is changed to conform with the other quest packs.
Finally since this is an EU version it is VERY tough to play it with US
monster stats. If you wan't to play it as intended, give all monsters
except Ogres and special characters 1 body point.

Wizards of Morcar
Battle
Morcar's mage lieutenants in 5 magic laden quests. Quest 5 clearly
demonstrates the advantages of using monster AI.
Finally since this is an EU version it is VERY tough to play it with US
monster stats. If you wan't to play it as intended, give all monsters
except special characters 1 body point.

HQ basic board game (either version)+ WoM tiles
Additional figures: 4 wizards and 12 Men-at-arms.
The elf is called upon to rescue the Elven Queens daughter, but must
proove himself in 3 trials alone before joining his comrades.
New spells are introduced for the Elf.
Quest 4 and Quest 9/10 exist in alternate version due to some "almost
certain death" traps in the originals.

Additional figures: 4 Ogres, 2 Elven swordsmen, 2 Elven Archers, 1
Archmage, 3 Giant wolves.
The Barbarian is called upon to rid his homeland of an ancient menace -
The Frozen Horror. 3 Solo trials determine if he is worthy. Henchmen are
an important addition for these quest. You may want to consider changing
the Yeti hugging rule during the Solo Quests.
